¶ Initial Setup
Serial into the controller using the following config
- Baud Rate: 115200
- Data bits: 8
- Parity: None
- Stop bits: 1
- Flow Control: None
The default credentials are admin / <empty>
You should be prompted to change the password after logging in (if it hasn't already been changed).
Run the Shelf Controller setup script

- Setup OSPF routing? -
NO - Configure optically extended node? -
NO - Is this an in-line amplifier node? -
NO - Configure DCN connection? -
YES - Enter Management IP -
x.x.x.x/y - Enter Default gateway -
x.x.x.x - Enter Hostname -
<site-name>-SmartOptics-Controller - Enter DNS IP, end with empty input -
x.x.x.x, x.x.x.x - Enter DNS IP, end with empty input -
<empty to finish DNS servers> - Enter Timezone -
America/Denver - Enter NTP Name/IP -
ntp1.example.com, ntp2.example.com(enter just like DNS)

Currently, this shelf controller is only for the DCP-R. The following graphics outline how to connect the DCP-R(s) to this SC.
